This article is heartbreaking but is a good illustration why some people should not be police officers. Not every individual has the temperment, patience, and intelligence to be a law enforcement agent. When we hire individuals like this to protect our City, it can only lead to problems down the road. It was a dog this time, but next time it could be a child who reached into his pocket to get an ID or a mentally ill student who should have been tased. I won't belabor the point here but the article is a good read. Call for this officer's resignation and keep him out of law enforcement.
